WELCOME TO THE NEW AGE 2015 is here!  Resolutions, begin!  I'm amazed at how fast last year came and went.  What a trip!  I delivered a baby in 2014 and we expanded the shop in 2014.  I d-jayed (I dunno how to spell Dee-jay. Sorry) in a night club and took a train for the first time.  What's 2015 going to bring?  I do have a few tricks up my sleeve...  For me, 2015 will be the year of my big chop (again).

For all of the hairstyles I have tried, this one is new.  I'd like to be bald for just once in my life and 2015 will be the year I do so.  What are you going to try?  You get another year to do it all again.  Anything you regretted last year?  Anything you would like to try again?  2015 is new and fresh and just waiting for you to leave your mark on her.  Do you have what it takes?

We are closed for the holidays so there will be no blog post till after I return in the new year.  2015.  Just around the corner is the next 365 days of your life that will be filled with ups, downs, and all kinds of other stuff (hopefully only good). We are having our staff Christmas party in January so maybe I'll post a few pictures from our night along with the list of my resolutions.  Okay, well that's all guys!  Enjoy your holidays and your last days of 2014!

Family Ties

Now that the holidays are pretty much here (my last day is the 23rd) family members and loved ones start to stream into the city in a steady trickle.  I'm sure there are many people headed to the airport this weekend.  Maybe you're picking up a family member, or getting away for the 25th, the airport is a buzz.  The city is alive and you can feel the energy in the atmosphere change.

Christmas is around the corner and my family and I enjoy it with a good dose of basketball.  I know it's bizarre but our family tradition does include a good dose of sports.  As 2014 comes to an end, I'm again reminded about how important my relatives are to me. We expanded our family by one this summer as well!  To be able to just unwind, rest, and love all these people makes me feel complete.   I'm excited, I'm grateful and I'm very happy.  Happy holidays to all of you from all of us!

Holiday make-up!  We like it...

I was at a Christmas party this past weekend and took notice of all the boys.  My husbands workplace has a large number of male employees and because I work with women, it's not hard to notice a well dressed man.

What type of style do you have?  Do you tend to be a bit lazy and leave the house wearing whatever is clean and not on the floor?  Are you anal about ironing and need an hour to get ready?  We need to remember fashion is not just for the ladies.  There are some guys out there that really know how to put a kit together.  Boys I'm sorry I've neglected you for so long...

Don't forget!  Hair, facial and/or scalp, can really show people how far your style goes.  Haircuts are a real cheap way to change your look up a bit and facial hair (if you can grow it) can add a lot as well.  It's very popular right now to have some sort of hair on your face.   Mustaches and beards are all the rage.  What are you willing to try this season before we start anew in 2015??
