That's the kind of weekend I had... The days just speed by.  Anyway, a good Monday to you all and, I hope that the dreariness of Canada Day weather won't make you want to break up with Tuesday as well.  Happy Canada Day!

HOORAY!!!!

You guys! Chloe, my assistant, is now a full-blown stylist!  She finished her apprenticeship program and passed with flying colors!  I'm very excited because this is my very first protégé.

Chloe started at Freshair two years ago and has continued to grow and improve.  I'm very proud and just wanted to let everyone know.  The hair industry relies on students like Chloe who are willing to work hard and are dedicated to making the industry a better one.

Good job Hodgson, I hope you know that I'm here if you need anything hair or life related... Go forth and be great!  I know being an assistant is not easy, and going through the three-year program is even harder.  Please help me congratulate Chloe the next time you see her in the shop!  She is well deserving!

The new shop?

Guys, there was supposed to be a new shiny shop as of June 1.  The shop is not new yet.  The shop is not shiny yet.  We haven't started anything.  I was just wanted to keep you all posted on the status of our renovations, seeing that I've been talking about it for months...

The City of Winnipeg has been holding us up with permits and things.  I understand that permits are set in place to make sure that things go smoothly but good god!  I wish there was an easier way!  First to get by the permit thing, and then there's the actual renovations!  We all know that can be terrifying because one never knows how renos will end.

I can't wait, Christie can't wait, none of us can wait! I 'm sure you guys are excited too.  We have so much new things to share with you and the time is coming soon guys... It is coming!
