February What do we have in Feb? Well there's Valentine's Day, (extreme cold) and we get a long weekend in honor of my man Louis Riel and extreme cold.  There's also the Festival Du Voyager and let's not forget our birthday with a side of extreme cold...

On February 23rd we turn five!  We made it! We made it through a bunch of drywall and paint and dust and we are going to be better than ever!  The renovations made us step our game up.  We believe in a better experience for our clients.  We really work hard for you guys and we want you to know that it's because of you that we are still around for another year!  Without you guys we are nothing.  We may be nothing without you guys but we are also extremely cold.  That's February in Winnipeg.

Thanks for sticking with us and allowing us another year of fresh, freshness!  We love you guys!  If you're not too cold on Tuesday, Feb 24th, come down to the shop to celebrate with us!

Curled up You have curly hair?  How do you wear it?  I find it's very rare that a man with curly hair wears it curly.  Most boys with textured hair wear their hair so short, you can't tell it's curly.

These images show the best of both worlds.  There is lots of length on the top and the side and the back are cropped short enough that it's a non-factor.

Hair this texture does require a good product that will hold the curls and keep them from frizzing.  No need to blow dry here, just throw your product in and let your hair do it's thing.  The next time you're in for a haircut, maybe ask your stylist what he/she thinks about growing out your curls.  Life's too short to never try a new style.

Staff Party 2014

What an amazing night! We set up a camera in the shop and had a super fun photo shoot. Afterwards we took a limo to a wonderful restaurant where the chef fed us so well. The dinner was beyond delicious. Cards against humanity was the highlight of the night because of all the laughs that ensued... We ate chocolate cake and laughed and cried (because of all the laughing).

Thanks for the best night girls.... It truly was magical!

WELCOME TO THE NEW AGE 2015 is here!  Resolutions, begin!  I'm amazed at how fast last year came and went.  What a trip!  I delivered a baby in 2014 and we expanded the shop in 2014.  I d-jayed (I dunno how to spell Dee-jay. Sorry) in a night club and took a train for the first time.  What's 2015 going to bring?  I do have a few tricks up my sleeve...  For me, 2015 will be the year of my big chop (again).

For all of the hairstyles I have tried, this one is new.  I'd like to be bald for just once in my life and 2015 will be the year I do so.  What are you going to try?  You get another year to do it all again.  Anything you regretted last year?  Anything you would like to try again?  2015 is new and fresh and just waiting for you to leave your mark on her.  Do you have what it takes?
