La Biosthetique Heat Protector Shape

La Biosthetique is a product line that's been around for many years.  Some of you may know them because they have an extensive skin care line and high-end make-up.  I stumbled upon them a few months back and I am now loving this particular product. For those of you who flat-iron always, heat protector is the ticket.

I like to apply the spray onto damp hair and then totally dry the hair and spray a bit more before I flat-iron.  It gives amazing  shine and seems to straighten the hair better than some other products I've used.

I can't say that there are any negatives that I can think of because I love the way this product works.  It totally delivers and I am sold.  La Biosthetique also has a line for fine hair that I love and I'll probably give you my perspective on that as soon as I get on it.  So if you want to give your hair the straightening of its life, try this. That's the fresh perspective...

So I was chatting with a client during a haircut and we got onto the topic of 'hair changes'. I may have come on too strong in the past couple of posts about trying new things with your hair and changing, changing, changing...

What if your hairstyle is best for you already? What if you have a cut and shape that works with  your hair type, lifestyle and personal style? What if everyone always tells you how great your hair is? It's official, if you're a change-a-holic keep it up.  If you have found the best style for you and your hair type then maybe don't change.  There are other ways to change-up your hairs... Maybe color? Maybe your changes need not be hair related.

I guess I'm just trying to clarify my older posts... If you like to change things up then do so.  If you feel like you have your hair game on lock down then maybe the changes you seek are not even hair related.  That's all, that's the fresh perspective...

This poll is not related at all to this post. I was just curious to see how many candy lovers were out there...

When was the last time you changed your hair?  When was the last time you looked in the mirror and were pleasantly surprised?  Yesterday, I gave the 'big-chop' to two clients.  Two other clients (who sat in other chairs) also changed their hairs drastically.  It was a day of big changes and we felt like everyone enjoyed themselves.

Of course there were a few, "Oh it'll be so different when I wash it", or some "Wow, it'll be fun getting used to..." peppered through our day but it was so nice to see people out there changing it up.  Keagan, Karen, Noreen and Patricia this post was for you guys!

Keep up the good work! The best is yet to come! That's the fresh perspective...

By the way, if you're on instagram so are we! Noreen and Karen let us document their 'big-chops', give us a follow and maybe get grammed one day!

So the changes, as you can see, have finally happened.  Instead of posting about product today, I'd like to write about good old change... Again...  I feel like this topic is one that I will always have time to chat about.  Maybe it's cause I'm a hairstylist.  Maybe it's cause I like change.  Who knows...  What I know is that life is too short for us to be stagnant and not grow.

Change happens in our lives every year starting with our birth dates.  We get older every year, we make goals, we cross milestones...  We do it without even realizing sometimes and then other times? Nope. Nada. Not gonna change, no way, not ever!

When changes don't benefit us we aren't interested.  When we are the sole beneficiary of a big change it's funny how quickly we can do it.  Getting married? Grow your hair out for six months so you can have the up-do of your dreams.  Just like that you can decide to make a change.

This site was a long time coming and I worked very hard on it.  I found it difficult to accept that I had to make a change in my life and learn how to build a site on my own.  I am not tech savvy and would rather pay someone to do it but as new business go money is short.  Praise made a decision and got to work.   Thanks again to all who helped me out!  That's the fresh perspective...
